Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential hopeful, as a host of American television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor of The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball made the decision to cancel the show in May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball attributes her new fascination with politics due to her experience as a mother during the 2008 primaries. Additionally, she also observed the US elections for president in 2008 while working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of Jordan and thus gained an appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She launched the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
